Aaron J Smith is a former alcoholic and drug addict who found God, cleaned up his act and now supervises psychiatric patients in a maximum security prison in Wisconsin. He chats to James about all sorts of interesting things from his time in the military - including in a specialist psyops unit where he did a lot of work with crisis actors - to his erudite and insightful thoughts on the coming totalitarian technocracy. He has written a sci fi novel on the subject - Project Nimrod - the first in a planned series, which James is now keen to read because Aaron, besides being a good man of God, is a smart cookie. Thanks James and Aaron that was a truly interesting conversation! I'm sure there's more content still to be gleaned from Aaron's life, experience and views and hope he makes a return in due course perhaps on release of volume two!

There is something to be said for reaching rock bottom age 29 - Aaron looks incredibly healthy! And is clearly very mentally healthy too . (Not to minimise his struggles and effort to stay that way)

PS: Weed these days is horrific. Truly. It's not the same thing these days.

I have ordered the book. I am going to try to persuade my children to read it. If schools were what they should be it would be on the syllabus (as far as ai can tell without actually reading it which I will!).
