I do love the idea of Sina crisps (and might buy some) but all you need is a small deep fat fryer, a large bucket of coconut oil (so much cheaper in bulk), a mandolin, and potatoes; then you can do the best ever ones yourself - really good for guests. I add cayenne pepper and good salt (don't add salt too early or they go soggy). And cook them for longer than you think - just before they start to burn.

I agree about the spraying. Surely we can have fresh air if nothing else. At least we can do something about the water we drink. I mean can't they just let us have one avenue to good health even if we have to work so hard for it. But if they poison the air there is no way that I can see towards optimal health, unless you do what they do and, after being in the poisoned zones, head straight to detox centres with saunas etc and if need be detox dialysis.

Hank Shaw (from hunter angler gardener cook) has an excellent recipe for fried pheasant which can be well adapted to use chicken. Also replace the seed oil in his recipe but ŵell worth a try

I really enjoyed this. Particularly the riff about the fish and chips. It’s that kind of thing that makes your podcast so enjoyable.

I do get a bit frustrated when you give the impression there’s no place off limits when there are some areas, particularly theological that deviate from mainstream Christianity that you won’t go down the rabbit hole.

In a previous episode you mentioned that these highly educated scholars must be right given their expertise. To give this remarkable trust to these scholars (when for them to deviate from the norm would have likely cost them their lives) seems extraordinarily at odds with your general thesis about academia in general particularly science.

Just food for thought and I think it would be good to explore deeper those theologies that utterly remove the ability for us to ever identify fully with Jesus.

Sad to see Alistair slowly disappearing up his own arsehole. He can't be a true Christian with an ego of that magnitude.
