In this shocking episode of the Delingpod which may upset some listeners, James chats to Francis O’Neill about which characters in the Truth movement may not be all they seem. James has a ‘final scene of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers’ moment as Francis fingers one of James’s most adored and trusted friends and allies as a potential wrong ‘un. Also on the menu: James’s beloved late Dad; why animals are made of meat; the UK Column affair; etc. PS James has since had a chat with the friend - spoiler: it’s Bob - and you definitely needn’t worry. It’s going to end happily, just you wait. Meanwhile, you can find Francis - and the Big Picture podcast - at

But you would fight for your team, the same way you would fight for your street, town, County, school
We have all experienced that
I grew up in a garrison town and you would love a punch up with the soldiers
Have alot of time for Francis
Keep up your good work James

Some years back, I went on a pilgrimage trek across Northern Spain. A lot of other people had decided to do the same.
At a pre-dinner refreshment session, I was invited to sit down with about a dozen people, a mix of Americans and Commonwealth citizens.
The conversation turned to a 'round the table' quiz of the one thing each person would do to make the world a better place.
My answer was "Have everyone tell the truth for just 1 day."
I was washed out of my chair by the tsunami of opprobrium that came my way.
My opinion remains the same but people no longer ask me about it.
You are doing God's work so hang in there, we know it is a tough road.

This is exactly the antidote to this deceptive mess we were all born into. One curated by machinations and theatrical mouthpieces at the highest levels and broadcast/indoctrinated into the minds of the masses. Embracing the idea of free speech, reasonable questions and rejecting the influence of sacred cows or group think. Particularly when respectfully or evidentially made.
For example James you, a MS Spectator journalist, can quip to your audience of potentially millions, that the founder of a charity that has dedicated most of his life towards trying to ameliorate some of the suffering of vulnerable animals and children, whose hand you’ve shook; might be motivated by more carnal desires for his lifelong association with them. Yet no offense was taken or great crime committed, because you’re welcome to ask and say or think whatever you want.
If I’d detected a question therein contained I would have immediately answered “No I don’t f**k animals, children or midgets pretending to be them”. Could it cause me reputational harm or someone to not donate to feed a very real bear? Prols, but that's not the point. We're immersed in a world of lies and bad actors, so it's cool to question the s**t we're being fed online.
Nothing will stop the path of honest enquiry if we’re possesed of the discernment and wisdom to stick to it.
Hope & Courage all [fist-bump emoji]
