A Delingpod episode

In this shocking episode of the Delingpod which may upset some listeners, James chats to Francis O’Neill about which characters in the Truth movement may not be all they seem. James has a ‘final scene of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers’ moment as Francis fingers one of James’s most adored and trusted friends and allies as a potential wrong ‘un. Also on the menu: James’s beloved late Dad; why animals are made of meat; the UK Column affair; etc. PS James has since had a chat with the friend - spoiler: it’s Bob - and you definitely needn’t worry. It’s going to end happily, just you wait. Meanwhile, you can find Francis - and the Big Picture podcast - at https://francisoneill.substack.com

Before it even starts, I’ve been meaning to say, the new intro sound effect is very good! My dog wonders what’s going on! Thinks he’s master of the hounds :-)

Thank you, it's a sample from 'Hunting Story' a 1963 British Pathé news film.

And five minutes in and it’s it’s very much from the heart. No matter how the rest of the conversation goes, thank you my mate James

I personally think it's being bred out of us, football could be masonic and in hindsight it probably is
But you would fight for your team, the same way you would fight for your street, town, County, school
We have all experienced that
I grew up in a garrison town and you would love a punch up with the soldiers
Have alot of time for Francis
Keep up your good work James

Francis is right - finding out we have been lied to on such a scale suggests we need to reconnect to our ability to discern. Questioning is a must and anyone acting in truth or wanting truth would be happy to answer any questions. Have to let go of the conditioning and not be offended!

Francis is great, he gives you plenty to think about. There is some kind of spat or falling out between David A Hughes and Patrick Wood that I would like to know more about. Maybe get Patrick on and ask him. Fantastic discussion, thank you James.

hi james i haven't listened yet, looking forward to it. i moved from substack but delayed joining here by a few months- to be honest it was the sound effect you previously (as per the comment below i can see it has been changed) had in the intro/closing. whats the story can i ask why you chose that? i found it disturbing and it confused me. made me feel like you 'had to tell me' you were some weird perv.

Hi Ash, it wasn’t anything to do with James. I edit the podcast and was looking for a sound effect to fill some blank space in. I searched ‘oh James’ on YouTube and these Bond girls came up so I used that. James’s Booker, a lady called Venetia found it amusing so I kept it in. Others didn’t like it though, so we took it out.

I’m glad you asked. It was a relief to explain. James doesn’t listen back to the podcasts, so had no idea what people were complaining about - when it was first mentioned.

About seeking the truth, James....

Some years back, I went on a pilgrimage trek across Northern Spain. A lot of other people had decided to do the same.

At a pre-dinner refreshment session, I was invited to sit down with about a dozen people, a mix of Americans and Commonwealth citizens.

The conversation turned to a 'round the table' quiz of the one thing each person would do to make the world a better place.

My answer was "Have everyone tell the truth for just 1 day."

I was washed out of my chair by the tsunami of opprobrium that came my way.

My opinion remains the same but people no longer ask me about it.

You are doing God's work so hang in there, we know it is a tough road.

Francis is right about Abi (if that wasn’t already obvious from her own appearance in your podcast) and Bob.

An interesting conversation thanks both.
This is exactly the antidote to this deceptive mess we were all born into. One curated by machinations and theatrical mouthpieces at the highest levels and broadcast/indoctrinated into the minds of the masses. Embracing the idea of free speech, reasonable questions and rejecting the influence of sacred cows or group think. Particularly when respectfully or evidentially made.
For example James you, a MS Spectator journalist, can quip to your audience of potentially millions, that the founder of a charity that has dedicated most of his life towards trying to ameliorate some of the suffering of vulnerable animals and children, whose hand you’ve shook; might be motivated by more carnal desires for his lifelong association with them. Yet no offense was taken or great crime committed, because you’re welcome to ask and say or think whatever you want.
If I’d detected a question therein contained I would have immediately answered “No I don’t f**k animals, children or midgets pretending to be them”. Could it cause me reputational harm or someone to not donate to feed a very real bear? Prols, but that's not the point. We're immersed in a world of lies and bad actors, so it's cool to question the s**t we're being fed online.
Nothing will stop the path of honest enquiry if we’re possesed of the discernment and wisdom to stick to it.

Great episode, and Francis, huge respect for seeking truth so fearlessly. Nothing should be beyond question. I too was suspicious when I logged in that morning to a flood of Ed the Techie posts, in fact, I had never heard of him until then! And it raised questions for me too when I saw Bob's comment glazing him up. We clearly live in a world where stories are constructed around us, for the purposes of manipulating and modifying our behaviour, and it is obvious that there are agents of the state employed to prop these stories up, and, they hope, keep us marching in the direction they want us marching in, namely away from the truth. Discerning who these agents are is not an easy task, as we have all found out. However, those engaged in categorising topics into ones we are allowed to question, and ones we are not, give themselves away, in my opinion. As do those who participate in propagating psyops that are of the most obvious kind, like Lucy Connolly. I have been deceived by many people on this "journey", and it hurts, of course, to realise that. And it has meant that my circle has become smaller and smaller, but I would far rather have a tiny group of trusted friends than an entire "crew" of fakes. Thanks both for the really interesting discussion. The truth will out.
