Skilfully handled discussion. Most of what that guy said went right over my head: some of it was interesting, but the interaction between James and him was entertainment enough

I was able to keep up with the physics.

Once he got into super-rational (or ontologically-driven) beings deriving from a non-rational, un-created universe then he started going off the rails.

Then I was completely lost the plot when he tried to argue the Talmud as a return to the oral tradition of the Torah. Has he compared the size of the Torah to the Talmud?

I never found myself back to his thread of thought because it splintered so badly thereafter.

Considering you’re a Christian, James, you have an awful lot of antichristians and raging heretics on the show. Guests who claim to be this and that but don’t really know what they’re talking about. Some of the guests I’ve enjoyed most of late are Foundring, Robert Frederick, Peter Duke, Richard Grove and Alex Thomson (obviously).

That was challenging! As usual you were very patient but I hope Christopher listens to the discussion and realises he didn't give you much chance to participate. I need to review but I found his outlook quite negative - and in my world I like to look at what upside there is no mater how little it may be🙂

To me, it very much appeared as though James was acting/playing the fool in this 'pod, and ergo, it wasn't very enjoyable despite CJB being a knowledgable chap.

I somehow missed this one when I was subscribed to your Patreon channel—was it posted there?

I found him fascinating, if not overly verbose, but his thesis was both challenging and thought-provoking. Have him back on again, and soon. Next time though, have an agreement with him that ytou will alert him in some way (perhaps by raising a flag of some kind) that he has thirty seconds to stfu, otherwise you’ll switch the sound off before you ask your next question. That should do it. He’s too good not to have back on again, though!
